Residential Team Camps provide a week of training at a selected facility for all levels of serious travel teams. Typically, each camp will have teams of the same age and gender.  Each team trains individually during the day with a selected Soccer Academy staff coach and then competes in matches in the evening to incorporate the training concepts into match play conditions. The training program is custom designed to the team’s development objectives, based upon a survey we ask the team coach to complete. The program is flexible and can be amended during the week based upon our staff’s observations of the team’s performance and discussions with the team’s coach.

For the individual player - the opportunity to improve technical and tactical skills:

  • Advanced technical skills
  • Positional play
  • Decision making
  • Conditioning, fitness training and mental preparation
  • Specialized goalkeeper training

For the team - team building, increased chemistry and improved team work:

  • Small group and team tactics
  • Possession and supporting play
  • Speed of play
  • Attacking strategies
  • Defending as a group
  • Principles of team play
  • Systems of play

For the team coach - working with Soccer Academy staff:

  • Reading the game
  • Coaching within the game
  • Practice ideas for next fall’s training
  • Fresh insights into your team from an objective expert

Goalkeeper Academies - Outstanding Goalkeeper training is conducted at the Residential Team Camps. Typically goalkeepers will train on the technical aspects of goalkeeping in the morning and then integrate back into their team for the afternoon training.

Extended Day - this option suits people who live locally to the camp. It includes everything a Resident Camper gets apart from overnight stay and breakfast. The players arrive after breakfast (around 8.15am) and leave at around 8.30pm each day. The first day they come at registration with everyone else and the last day they leave at noon with everyone else.

You only need to pay a deposit of $150 per camp, per person to lock in this discount - remaining balance is due 7 days prior to camp starting.

EACH TEAM CAN HAVE A COACH ATTEND CAMP FOR FREE!!  Any other team representatives in addition to the coach, can come for half price. Team coaches will live on site to watch your team develop and to learn from our trainers.

Residential Team Camps provide the ideal environment for teams to receive the finest training and match play experience and are a great opportunity to integrate new players, while developing team chemistry.
