Goalkeeper Academy
Goalkeeping is a unique position in the game of soccer and requires specialized training to develop the goalkeeping skills, self confidence and toughness to be the team’s last line of defense and first point of attack. To be effective in the position, goalkeepers need to be well trained technically and tactically to integrate into the team’s defense. The design of Soccer Academy’s goalkeeper training will develop goalkeepers to be decision makers. The program is designed to be progressive based upon the age, ability and experience of the individual goalkeeper.

Summer 2008 Residential Camps
Summer 2008 Residential Soccer Camps are online now and early registration has already started. Plan early and receive early bird discounts for the programs you register for. Our Summer 2008 schedule has a variety of programs for youth players between the ages of 9-18 for all levels of playing.

Soccer Academy Summer Team Camps
Soccer Academy has been successfully providing teams with the opportunity to receive the finest training and match play experience for decades. Soccer Academy creates an ideal environment and coaching atmosphere for players to learn and develop.
- Residential Team Camps: This program provides six days of training at a selected facility for all levels of travel teams. Each camp consists of 6 to 10 teams of the same age and ability. Each team is provided with a Soccer Academy trainer and develops curriculum that fits each team's development objectives, team tactics and helps promote team chemistry. This camp includes goalkeeper training.
- Special Team Camps: For teams that would like to have training sessions conducted at their own site and convenient dates/times for your team, Soccer Academy's Special Team Camps are ideal. This program enables each player to work on skills, tactics and strategies that need further refining, as determined in consultation with the team coach. Each team will have its own trainer throughout the week.
- Day Team Camp: The 2008 Summer Day Team camp will be held at Bull Run Park in mid August to offer excellent training opportunities for teams in the local area. The training program will be customized to meet the needs of each team through consultation with the coach. Teams will also benefit from the evening matches. This camp includes goalkeeper training.
Many teams make their plans early, so you are encouraged to reserve your space soon to ensure space in the camp you prefer.
